Neck strength is an underrated aspect of a healthy functioning body.
We spend so much time working on our upper and lower body strength, yet the muscles in our neck are no less important in the grand scheme of things.
Whether it be reducing the impact of concussion in athletes, or helping to ward off everyday issues like headaches, neck pain, and jaw pain, neck strength needn't be an afterthought. Especially when considering how simple basic neck strength exercises can be.
In this video, I go through some simple ways to strengthen your neck with no equipment at home, and also how to scale it up if you have some equipment to play with.
And yes, the Iron Neck, makes a strong showing at the end.
